God's Blessings are for His people. "Living Legend," R.W. Schambach tells you...

How to Plug In

The basic problem most of us have is that we have been disconnected from God. Most people regularly ignore or cross-over God's Law. None of us can measure up to how great God is. So our connection with God gets "short circuited." The power of God can't work as it should in our lives, and there is nothing we can do about it...

EXCEPT

Accept the simple way God Himself arranged to reconnect us to Himself and His power. Here it is:

1) Understand that when Jesus Christ was crucified, He intentionally died in YOUR place to correct the times you crossed God's standards. Jesus actually paid in advance the price you should have paid. He was your Substitute.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

2) Tell God you are sincerely sorry you missed His mark for your life. That's what the Bible calls repentance. To repent means more than to confess your sins. It means to turn around, do an about-face, and go in another direction with your life.

Sin is more than a three letter word preachers preach about. Sin is rebellion against God--against His perfect plan for your life. The Bible says "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Rom. 3:23) This means that even though you may not have committed serious crimes or lived an immoral life, you are guilty of sin. Before God can give you a new life, you must confess your sinful condition, which has separated you from God.

3) Make a definite decision now to accept what Jesus did for you on the cross as something He did for your personally, as your very own Substitute. That makes Him your Savior. The Bible says:

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name...

If you need the power of God to change your life, you will receive power when you open your heart to the Lord, and He becomes the Lord of your life.

4) Then, confess Him as your risen Lord and Savior. When you sincerely confess your sins to Jesus Christ, and receive Him into your heart, Christ will make you to be God's child! Pray this prayer sincerely:

Father in heaven, have mercy upon me. I have sinned against You, and I am sorry. God forgive me. Lord Jesus, I receive you as my personal Savior. Come into my heart and life. I need to be saved. Change me Lord from the inside out and help me to live a new life of peace and joy. Thank You, Jesus, for dying for me. In Your name, Jesus. Amen.

5) You now have eternal life! He that hath the son (Jesus Christ) hath life. (1 John 5:12) You are now a NEW person!

2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

6) Make a sincere commitment to live like He wants you to live.

(Note from Lorraine: It will be easier now, as Jesus has given you the power to live a righteous life!)

If you really meant it...

7)Thank the Lord for saving you!

Youare now plugged into the power of God!

Adapted from "Plan of Salvation" by Living Legend, R.W. Schambach, who is one of my favorite "Heirlooms." Now 80 years of age, he is still taking his big tent to the cities of America and the world, preaching the simple message: Jesus Saves, Jesus Delivers, Jesus Heals! Our family was extremely blessed to hear him preach in 2001 at a camp meeting--his was one of the two best sermons at the meetings and there was much preaching by several different preachers! For tapes, videos and more contact his ministry at R.W. Schambach Revivals, PO Box 9009, Tyler, TX 75711-9009.
